A Little Light Music featuring The Tams
Sunday, May 8th, 7-9 pm
Every summer locals and visitors gather on the oceanfront lawn beneath the Lighthouse on St Simons Island to enjoy the beautiful scenery and great music. Tickets are available at the Museum Store or at the gate at the show. $12 adults. Children under 12 are free of charge.
 
The 78th Annual Blessing of the Fleet
Saturday, May 7th-Sunday, May 8th
This two day Festival begins Saturday, 10am at Sidney Lanier Park featuring arts and crafts, food and entertainment, a children's area and more.  Sunday the Festival continues at 11am with the highlight of the event at 3 pm as Father Tim McKeown of St Francis Xavier Catholic Church blesses the shrimping fleet and pleasure boats of Brunswick Ga. http://www.brunswickblessing.com/
 
Turtle Crawl Triathlon and Festival

1st Annual Golden Isles Prep Rally

This Armed Forces Day come out to Mary Ross Waterfront Park and learn what to do in any Evacuation Emergency, Boating Safety and Hurricane and Flood Awareness. Free fun for the entire family. There will be Demonstrations and Coast Guard Helicopter Rescues. Free Stuff! Therapy Dogs will be on hand as well as Girl and Boy Scouts, the Red Cross and More!
